“Brain Friendly Study Strategies:  The Path to Student Success”

We are fortunate to welcome Amy Schwed and Janice Melichar-Utter, two extraordinary educators.  These teachers have taught in the public schools, have experience as adjunct college professors, and have presented numerous workshops for area educators.  Attendees at past workshops and classes begged these educators to write a book about their wonderful information used to support study skills teaching.  This presentation will present the relevant research connected to effective practices for teachers working to foster the ability for students to learn effective study skills.  Amy and Jan will present the research that was used to form the core of their reader-friendly book.  Plan to learn and network with other educators as you listen to these outstanding presenters.

Books will be available for purchase and autographing.  Please feel free to bring a colleague or administrator to share in this delightful presentation.

Come early at 3:45 for refreshments, the opportunity to browse through the book, and network with area educators.

Members are welcome to attend at no charge.  There is a $10.00 fee for guests.
